Report of Findings Process
Clarity Before Care Begins
At Adjusting to Health, we don’t begin Chiropractic care based on assumptions. Before specific recommendations of care can be made, we take the time to explain exactly what we found and what your options are.
Your Problem report is the first of your two Report of Findings appointments. After having gone through this process, many patients tell us they’ve never had their condition explained so clearly before.
What Is a Report of Findings?
Your Report of Findings is a structured two part consultation where
your Chiropractor explains the results of your assessments in plain language
as well as providing treatment to address the root cause.
This includes:
- What is causing your symptoms
- How your spine and nervous system are functioning
- Whether Chiropractic care is appropriate for you
- What results you could realistically look like
- What would be required to achieve them
No guesswork. No pressure. Just facts and clarity.
Why We Don’t Skip This Step
Some clinics rush straight into treatment.
We don’t. We take the time to ensure you have an in-depth understanding of
what's happening, why and what you can do about it.
Starting care without first explaining findings leads to poor results and poor decision-making
Our approach ensures you understand your body before choosing how to care for it.
This is a core part of the Health Blueprint™ Process.
What’s Covered In Your Report of Findings
Presuming we decide to accept your case and start care, during this appointment, along with
providing treatment to address the root cause, your Chiropractor will explain:
- Whether Chiropractic Care Is Appropriate
- Examination and Neurological Findings
- Postural and Movement Patterns
- Relevant Imaging (If Taken)
- How These Findings Relate To Your Symptoms
You’ll also have time to ask questions and discuss concerns.
Clear Recommendations – Not Sales
If Chiropractic care is appropriate, we will explain:
- What the care would involve
- Why it is recommended
- How progress would be monitored
- When reassessment would occur
If Chiropractic care is not appropriate, we will explain why and guide you toward the next best step.
This may include:
- Referral back to your GP
- Medical Imaging
- Podiatry or other modality
No Obligation To Proceed
Your Report of Findings is about informed decision-making.
There is:
- No pressure to commit
- No obligation to proceed
- No expectation to start care
We believe people make better health decisions when they understand their situation clearly.
Why Patients Value This Appointment
Patients often tell us they appreciate that:
- Everything is explained clearly
- Their questions are answered properly
- Recommendations feel appropriate
- They feel listened to and respected
This is why so many GPs are comfortable referring patients to us.
How This Fits Into Your Care Journey
Your Report of Findings typically occurs after:
- Your Initial Consultation
- Examination and Testing
- Interpretation and assessment of any Required Imaging
It acts as the decision point before any care begins.
